Our History

Since 1972

Dhaka Model High School & College was established in 1972 with a vision to provide quality education to the children of Dhanmondi and surrounding areas. Starting with just 3 classrooms and 120 students, the institution has grown into one of Dhaka's most respected educational establishments. Over five decades, we have produced thousands of graduates who have gone on to serve the nation in various capacities.

Milestones

  • 1972 Institution established with 120 students and 3 classrooms
  • 1985 Achieved MPO enlistment and government recognition
  • 1998 Higher Secondary (College) section established
  • 2010 Modern computer lab and science laboratories inaugurated
  • 2023 Digital campus transformation completed
